On the day before the babies were born I published a post that listed the various things I was looking forward to. It was entitled ‘Anticipation’. Now that six weeks have passed, I thought that it might be interesting to visit that list and see what elements were as I’d expected. My original list items… Continue reading Anticipation: the aftermath
Well, Hattie and Joe were six weeks old yesterday – or, as I like to think of it, we’re halfway to the stage at which we might find life becoming marginally easier – and it seems like a good opportunity to take a breath and reflect on what’s been going on. Hattie and Joe will be four weeks old tomorrow, and – dare I say it – things have been a bit better in the last couple of days.… Continue reading Little by little
I’m writing this at 12.14 am, with a sleeping baby boy tied to me in a front wrap. His sister has been in her cot for the past couple of hours, although I suspect that she’ll be joining us again before I have a chance to finish writing this post. Both babies have been hugely… Continue reading Learning curve
